Ørganek quickly rose to become a staple on the Polish alternative rock scene. Established in 2013 by the lead singer and guitarist Tomasz Organek, the band debuted in 2014. The band's first album. "Głupi" met with an enthusiastic reception from the fans and garnered positive reviews from the music critics. The band's trademark powerful, vintage-rock inspired sound peppered with a touch of blues, and classic southern rock atmosphere they so effortlessly evoke, go together perfectly with the band's impressive stage energy.
Ørganek went on to re-create its success in 2016, when "Czarna Madonna", an album featuring Adam "Nergal" Darski hit the airwaves. The album won the title of the best rock album at Fryderyki 2017 ceremony, cementing Ørganek's position as one of the leading band's on the Polish rock scene.
The leader of the band, Tomasz Organek, is also one of the leading creative forces behind "Męskie Granie" tour and recording project.
Summer this year this British metalcore outfit will step on to the stage, which welcomed Bring Me The Horizon in 2016 and Parkway Drive and Crossfaith in 2019. While She Sleeps will continue the fantastic tradition of bands which redefine metal music on the Main Stage at Pol'and'Rock Festival, bringing some of their trademark raw power and frenzied energy.
The live concert stage of the Emerging bands competition has been cancelled due to coronavirus outbreak in Europe. The bands will play live, but the concerts will be closed to the public.
Fans of Irish folk-inspired music are in for a real treat this year. Fiddler’s Green joins Dropkick Murphys, The Rumjacks, and Saint City Orchestra in the Pol’and’Rock Festival lie-up.
