  • Dreamheart

    Dreamheart is a pop-rock outfit based in Rzeszów. The band has been formed in 2014 by a group of four friends who all shared the same passion for music. They are inspired by the likes of One Directions, 5 Seconds of Summers, Paramore, All time low, Green Day, and Blink-182. The band has played extensively and they have released their debut album 'Paper Hearts'.

  • Manchiz

    In 2014 two friends from Bielsko-Biała decided to establish a band. The quartet consists of Bartek Waluś (guitar), Paweł Olearczyk (drums), Robert Gruca (bass), and Luca Livera (vocal). Even though the musicians represent different backgrounds, but they come together when creating music. The band has toured extensively, and by 2017 they have released 2 EPs. Music brings them joy and sharing their passion with others is the main idea of their work.

  • Horrorscope

    The members of Horrorscope all hail from different parts of Upper Silesia region. Members of the band are: Lech "Blackpitfather" Śmiechowicz (guitar), Adam "Baryla" Bryłka (vocal), Piotr "Pienał" Pęczek (drums), Lukasz "Lukas" Gac (guitar), Krzysztof "Xycho" Kłosek (bass).

  • St. James Hotel

    This alternative band was established in Silesia (southern Poland) in 2009. The band aims to break with conventions and create original, innovative music. Their live shows and albums transport the listeners into the world of possibilities, innovative sounds, and interesting music experiments. Their debut album was released in 2011 and second release followed in 2018. The band has taken the stages both at intimate club shows and some of the biggest festivals in Poland - OFF Festival and Rawa Blues.

  • Hope

    Polish audience might recognize the band from their numerous performances at festivals such as Woodstock Festival Poland and LuxFest. The band has also toured extensively, playing gigs in Poland and abroad (Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Russia, Germany, and Switzerland). The band has also showcased their music at "Must be the music" talent show. Currently, the artists are working on their latest release.

  • MetKa

    MetKa was formed in Warsaw in 2011 and 2012. The band is known for their simple, upbeat rhythms inspired by ska music combined with brash punk chords and heavy rock riffs. Their lyrics take on our reality with irony and humour. The band excels at playing live shows, which are always full of energy. Thye showcased their talent at Woodstock Festival Poland in 2013 and 2014 as well as Woodstock Ukraine in 2013. 

    They have released one studio album and 2 EPs.

  • Maja i Dandysi

    The band was formed in 2016 in Żyrardów. The band has been joined by the charismatic finalist of The Voice of Poland, Maja Kapłon. Musically, the outfit draws inspiration from the music of the swinging 60s and alternative electro sounds straight from the 80s. Currently, they are focused on working on their album and they dream about performing at Pol'and'Rock Festival.

  • Neshorn

    The band has been formed in 2012 by Michał Rutkowski and Michał Nowakowski. Initially, the musicians drew inspiration from the music produced by the likes of Lamb of God, but eventually, the music created by Neshorn falls into the crossover category between death, trash, groove, and core metal.

    The band had won DarkFest 2015 emerging bands competition and performed alongside top Polish metal acts, such as Vader and Hate. In 2016 they have released their debut album, "Even in Dark Days".

  • Dream Atlas

    This rock outfit has been formed in Pszczyna in 2016. From the very start of their creative path, the band decided to avoid any kind of genre restrictions, creating unique and experimental music. The band has won Antyradio Antyfest competition in 2017 and grabbed accolades at different music competitions and festivals. In 2017 they have released their debut EP, titled Butterflies in 2017.

  • Czaqu

    The band was formed in 2001 in Toruń. To date, the musicians have released an EP and three albums. They are currently working on their fourth release. The band plays rhythmic rock and roll, which brought many awards their way. 

    Line-up: Walczqu (vocals, keyboards), Kandera (guitar), Ziółek (bass), Vitus (drums).

  • Guest performance: Chorzy

    The band was formed in 2008 and the musicians have released three very popular albums (two studio albums and one live release of their performance at Woodstock Festival Poland 2017). They have played over 400 concerts both in Poland and abroad. Their live shows are a great example of how to combine boundless stage energy with talent and musical ability. After their brilliant turn at last year's emerging bands competition, they gave a great show at Woodstock.

  • Guest star - Nocny Kochanek

    The band is a true phenomenon on the Polish music scene. They play heavy metal inspired by the genre's greatest artists but manage to put their very own, uproariously funny twist on music. Lyrics are always tongue-in-cheek, and their performances are full of energy and confidence. The band has released their debut album in 2015 and became set on conquering the scene - sold out club festival appearances followed suit. Nocny Kochanek supported the Scorpions on their Ergo arena show. After their sensational performance at the emerging bands live concert in Progresja Club last year they won the ultimate prize - a spot on the Main Stage at Woodstock Poland.

  • Venue

    ZAMEK Culture Centre is located in the centre of Poznań. You cannot miss the massive white caste in the city centre. 

  • The Djangos

    The Djangos is are, in essence, a reggae outfit. The band is made out of 10 fans of Jamaican rhythms people who believe that the world can be changed for the better. After three years of creative explorations, the band decided to release their first studio album.

  • Opus Magnum

    The band plays powerful, dynamic and full of positive aggression music which combines rap and hardcore vocals. The band has released their first album, "Rok Zero" in 2016.

  • Two Timer

    Two Timer describe their music as "grunge blues on steroids". The band has almost 10 years of honing their craft, playing at different venues around Poland. They have played at festivals in the US, Canda, France, and Germany. Two Timer play their own take on blues-rock and get inspiration from the music of the Mississippi River delta.  

  • Tune

    The band plays alternative rock and their debut album, "Lucid Moments" has been released in 2014, after 3 years in the studio under the guidance of Robert Hadley (Pink Floyd, Electric Light Orchestra, Korn). The band plays truly unique music - they combine melodic rock with instruments such as accordions. The band is currently working on their third album.

  • NeuOberschlesien

    NeuOberschlesien are all about spectacular shows, powerful and clear message and amazing contact with the audience. The band's lyrics used to be all written in Silesian, until their new album release in 2017. The songs on this album, titled "3" have been recorded alongside a symphonic orchestra, which gives them new power and new depth. 

    Line-up of the band: Michał Stawiński (vocals), Łukasz Sztaba (keyboard instruments), Wojtek Jasielski (bass), Tomasz Andrzejewski (guitar), Adam Jurczyński (guitar), Filip Oczkowski(drums).

     

  • Dollz

    The band has been formed in 2011. Inspired by the vocalist's, Paulina Kut's, performance at the X-Factor talent show, guitarist, Maciej Pawelczyk, invited her to form a band of their own. Their first EP, "Taa" has been released in 2017. Their debut album follows in 2017. The band is currently on tour. 

  • Guest performance: Offensywa

    Offensywa are all about alternative sounds and energizing live shows. Their debut album was released in 2012 and it was like a breath of fresh air for the punk-rock fans from Poland. Their neo-punk tracks are all recorded in Polish and the band continued their winning streak by recording the second album in 2015. This time around the musicians were inspired by post-punk sounds. Their music is the essence of rebellion, youth and fun. 

     

  • Guest star - Decapitated

    Decapitated are master of technical death metal from Poland. The band has been formed in 1996 and since then they have continued to create powerful, complex music. Their oeuvre consists of 7 studio albums, widely considered to be the best metal offerings of the 21st century. Their newest release, "Anticult", is one of the most complex albums in their career. Decapitated combine death metal, grindcore, and black metal and add inspirations drawn straight from groove metal and stoner rock. 

  • OHO!KOKO

    The trio was formed in Szczecin. The band creates music by combining electronic devices and acoustic instruments, so their live shows are not only an interesting musical experience but also are a visual show. The band blends different genres, such as pop, electronica, rock, and soul to create their trademark sound.

  • Łydka Grubasa

    They describe themselves as a humorous rock-metal-hotdog outfit. They began their creative journey in 2002 and they have played hundreds of gigs in clubs. Łydka Grubasa released 3 studio albums and each of them is full of funny songs and catchy riffs. 

     

  • Leski

    Leski made his debut in 2015 by releasing his debut album "Splot". The singer-songwriter wrote and composed each track himself. Leski co-produced the album as well. He flawlessly blends different genres and produces what can be best described as ambitious alternative pop.

Emerging bands in Gdańsk - June 9th
  • Venue

    Stary Maneż is located in Wrzeszcz district in Gdańsk. 

    The address is Słowackiego 23. 

  • Poligon nr.4

    Poligon nr. 4 is a grunge band from Warsaw. Their debut album was released in 2011 and since then, the band has been gigging in different clubs and venues across the country. Last year they have released their second record, titled "Flashback". 

  • Glasspop

    Glasspop is a new band, formed in Poznań in 2016. The band is a way for experienced musicians to have a freedom of exploring their creativity. The band is a new take on a rock'n'roll format, and the artists combine acoustic sounds with electronic beats. In 2017 they premiered their first single "I Need Somebody".

  • RusT

    RusT is a hard rock band from Poznań. The musicians fuse psychedelic rock with blues. The band's debut album has premiered in 2014. The band promoted "White Frog" by playing gigs in clubs across the country and they were able to share the stage with bands such as Blues Pills, Airborne, or MUSE. 

  • Agata Karczewska

    Agata is a singer-songwriter from Warsaw. She represents a minimalist trend in music. She is inspired by Elliott Smith and Dolly Parton in a way that she believes that a strong vocal and a guitar are enough to make compelling music. 

     

  • Carrion

    Carrion was established in Radom in 2003. The band has played many concerts and released four albums - with their debut release hitting the shelves in 2007. The band is currently working on another release.

  • Premiera

    Premiera is more than a band - it is a hip-hop squad hailing from a small town in central Poland. The band has been active for 15 years and after some line-up changes and many a creative struggle they are now in a place they are proud of. 

     

     

  • Snowman

    The band celebrated their debut album in 2008. "Lazy" had a great reception - among fans and critics. Their music is an interesting and ambitious mixture of jazz, post-rock, electronica, trans jazz, progressive jazz and even psychedelia. Snowman's creative explorations can be best described as experimental and daring. In 2017 the band released their third album, "Gwiazdozbiór". 

     

  • Łysa Góra

    The band draws inspiration from Polish folklore - their fun-loving attitude to music is combined with raw talent and musical skill. They describe their music as heavy folk or village-metal and the musicians often use very special objects, such as rubber ducks or antique violins to spice up their compositions.

    Armia was formed in 1984 after three strong personalities of Polish independent stage came together: Tomasz Budzyński, Robert Brylewski, Sławomir Gołaszewski. From the very onset of their long career, the band has been using non-conventional, for rock music at least, instruments, such as flute, piano, cello, folk instruments. Armia's sound was defined by the French horn. The band has released 10 acclaimed albums and their oeuvre is considered to be the classic of rock music.
