Zbigniew Zamachowski is one the best known and critically acclaimed actors of his generation. Zamachowski is a stage and film actor, he writes music and lyrics. Having graduated from the Leon Schiller National Film School in Łódź, he began working with theatres in Warsaw, and in 1997 he embarked on long-term cooperation with the National Theatre in Warsaw. He often appears in plays staged in Oh-Teatr and Polish Theatre in Warsaw.
Zamachowski made a seamless transition into cinema and worked with Krzysztof Kieślowski on "Three Colours: White" and "Three Colours: Blue". The actor appeared in both box office hits such as "Pitbull: Last Dog" and critically acclaimed, controversial films such as "The Aftermath", which tackled painful moments of Polish past.
