Our Ideals

Our mission

Pol'and'Rock Festival is the biggest non-commercial event in Europe. There are no entry tickets for festivalgoers and anyone willing to participate is free to join. The festival attracts audiences of almost half a million people who flock to the site of the Most Beautiful Festival in the World.

Our festival is a free event, open to all and a place where everyone can experience music and freedom unlike any other.

This year we invite you to a festival, which will become a manifestation held to promote the ideas of tolerance and peace!

The Most Beautiful Festival in the World
Our Audience

We are very proud of our audience - it is unlike any other. Our audience is a real community of people who love music, and who come to the festival to leave their worries and mundane reality behind. Festival-goers create a vibrant, diverse community, where all, regardless of gender, age, creed, are respected and welcomed. Our festival is a haven for all lovers of freedom and people who believe in the importance of community governed by tolerance and friendship.

The festival usually hosts a crowd of up to 750 000 people - either camping on-site, passing by to see a show or visiting the Academy of the Finest of Arts.

Our Promoter

Jurek Owsiak is a respected social activist, founder of the biggest Polish charity - the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation - and the mastermind behind Pol'and'Rock Festival. Known just as Jurek, he drew inspiration from the original Woodstock'69 to create an event which would be his way of saying thank you to all volunteers and benefactors of the charitable drive, so the Most Beautiful Festival in the World was born in 1995.
